The four-episode series examines how people might cope in the aftermath of a natural or man-made disaster of epic proportions. What would life be like, for example, if we ran out of oil? Using re-creations and CGI animation, the series presents one scenario of a world with no food or electrical power. Or what could be the effects of the world's population doubling overnight? "Aftermath" takes viewers into cities with populations of 35 million, where water, food and power are in desperately short supply and mass migrations destroy nations.
